Notice of 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS
The Riverland Winegrape Growers’ Association (RWGA) and the Riverland Wine Industry Development Council (RWIDC) will hold their 2026 Annual General Meetings on:
Date: Tuesday 24 November 2026
Time: 3:00pm
Venue: Berri Hotel
The RWGA AGM will be held first, immediately followed by the RWIDC AGM.
Light refreshments will be available.
Why your attendance or proxy matters
Both the RWGA and RWIDC Constitutions require at least 20 members to be present at the AGM, either in person or by proxy, to form a quorum. If a quorum is not reached within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, the meeting must stand adjourned to the same day, time and place the following week.
If you cannot attend in person, registering a proxy is extremely helpful. A proxy counts toward the 20-member quorum and ensures your interests are represented, even if you are not there on the day.
Who can be your proxy: Any financial member of Riverland Wine. If you don’t know a member attending, you may select a board director from the list on our website.
Nominations for election
In accordance with the RWGA Constitution, the following committee members retire by rotation at this AGM and are eligible for re-election:
- Philip Smith
- Peter Hill
- Jack Papageorgiou
- Courtney Proud
Nominations are invited from financial members to fill these vacancies. Nomination forms must be signed by the proposer, two seconders and the nominee, and returned by COB Friday, 30 October 2026.
If more nominations are received than positions available, a ballot will be conducted.
